Bunny's new play thing..

So my bun isnt much of a toy bunny. Ive tried lots of diff things, and he ignores most of them. Well me and my bf were cleaning, and we left a broom in the bedroom. The past 2 days, he has gone over and dug at the broom, and stopping in between to kinda bite the bristles. Im thrilled, because its something he could play with a lot, and Id love to put one in his cage. My question/concern is if it can hurt him. Would a straw broom be ok, if he ate the bristles? Im not sure what the normal broom bristles are made of, but would those hurt him? He doesnt bite on them hard, just kinda runs his teeth along it like he does when he tries to groom our clothes lol. But I want to make sure in case he accidentally eats it, or it wears down and he eats it. Any advice would be appreciated

I think a straw broom would be ok, but I'm not sure if you can guarantee that the broom's not been treated with chemicals or agents that may make it unsafe. If the bun likes to chew on it but doesn't actualy ingest it, I think it would be ok to give as a toy of interest. Buns find the weirdest things fun!

A regular plastic broom should be kept away. Bunny tum won't be able to digest plastic pieces.

My bun loves brooms too! He's the same way, doesn't seem to like most toys but took an interest in the broom.

That's really funny! I've only ever seen bunnies be angry at brooms because they invade their space! I'm sure a straw broom would be safe.

We have this little straw broom that I got at the Asian market. Baci is always fighting with it. When hubby use it to sweep up, Baci would hop on it and go for a ride like the magic broom!

My rabbits seem very attracted to the broom whenI am sweeping ; I am not sure why?? None of them have any fear of it but they will definitely come over try to 'interact" with it, sometimes fight it etc.... very funny
