Now my bunnies have made them a den under mypatio,I don't even know I have new bunnies until they cameout. So, here are some pictures of my precious bunnies.

Welcome to the forum Ga Thumper,

Sorry, I couldn't see your picture. How many bunnies did you have before you had the new babies?

Rainbows! :)

I'm not getting the entire photo when I load it.

Also, are you saying your bunnies had kits?

I don't think I would leave un-altered rabbits loose where other rabbits could mate with them, etc.

Welcome Ga Thumper.

Aren't you afraid of stray cats or dogs? I would be terrified ofneighborhood animals, diseases, snakes, mean spiritedpeople... CAn they dig under the fence?

I couldn't see your picture either. What kind are they?

Hello, everyone I am so glad with your responses.I am glad to see that everyone else loves their bunnies as much as Ilove mine. Yes, I have them in my fenced in back yard, with a bunnyfence on the inside around the chain link fence. I do have a problemwith cats, dogs, birds and even 1 posssum was visiting 1 night, but Ihave a pellet rifle that if any animal gets close to my fence they geta little sting.I live in a subdivision and people should havetheir anmals put up.

I like watching my bunnies in their natural habitat, they run, do theirbinkies, get all stretched out and enjoy the sun. I feed them carrots, rabbit food and greens. I started out with male and female and now have8. We did get up to 12 at 1 time butI gave some away and acat got in my yard and got one of my babies, :X. But nexttime he come around he will not get out!!

I will try to get my pictures working, hope to show you my new babies, they keep making new entrances into their den, they like remodeling Iguess. Thank you for the interest in my bunnies.

Welcome Nancy! I'd be careful that yourbuns don't create a tunnel underground going underneath yourfence..they could pop up on the other side and take off!

After I rescued Pipp from the streets of downtownVancouver, I immediately offeredher to a friend whose dog hadjust died, and she very happily adopted her.She hadthis thing about 'naturalizing' her animals, so Pipp was turned loosein her secure backyard with a garden and open hutches -- bunnyheaven. Except Pipp didn't think so. She kepttrying to scoot into the house everytime the door was opened. She got out of the yard one day, truckeddown the lane andheaded intoa neighbour's open back door.

I had been asking my friend if Pipp was still a 'people' bunny -- shehad been friendly and fearless -- and was told no, she wouldn't comenear her owner, she had reverted to a more natural life. However, just over threemonths later, I was asked tobunnysit, and Pippwas 'caught' anddelivered in akennel. I let her outin my house, and in just a fewhours, she was on my lap, giving me kisses and doing binkies all overthe place! But when my friendcame to pickher up a month later, the bunny took one look at her and tookoff! (The first and only time she's ever run from anybodywhile I've had her). Needless to say, I re-rescuedher.

I guess bunnies are like people -- some love thegreat outdoors, some don't. :)
