I found a website where you can buy Critical Care without a prescription. It is www.vetamerica.com. I got a 5 oz. bag of Critical Care for $14 and change (including shipping). That's a lot more economical that getting it from my vet. They charge $11+ for half a small vial of it.

Is this how you guy's buy yourcritical care?...mine is 141g..and it cost me $23..i'm so glad that Dr Lee canget critical carein.

That's how I buy mine too Cheryl, only it's $30a bag here. Laylagoes throughso much of it that my vet Narelle ordered me a whole $600 box of it.

Hi Eve,

Wow $600 worth, now that's a lot of critical care!....i have been wondering how Layla is going,i know that she was having a few problem's last time...i hope she's doing ok now....and Rodney also...give them both lot's of nose pat's from me :)

Hi Cheryl!

Thank you! Please give your bunnies acuddle for me too, I hope they are all well!

Layla eats about 2-3 sachets of critical care a week at the moment so it ended up cheaper to order it in bulk. She has about half of her teeth gone so it is all she can eat now, but she loves critical care which is good.

Do you have to feed her the critical care or will she eat it on her own?...wow half of her teeth are gone....it that because of the abscess she had?....i have been wondering how she was getting along with that...is she ok otherwise?

You have to give us a clinic on how to feed a bunny Critical Care. How do you prepare it and do you use a syringe?

A 5 oz (141g) bag cost me $25.46 frommy Vet.

Lucky for me she eats it on her own, otherwise I'd be in big trouble. I don't use a syringe, I just mix the powder withhot water and make it into little balls. When she doesn't feel like eating it I add a bit of grated apple or banana to make it more appealing.

Someof her teeth have been taken out due to the abscess and some of her teeth have become loose and just fallen out by themselves. She is doing really well though.

That's a good idea about adding the grated apple or banana to it.

I'm glad to hear that Layla is doing well otherwise,i know that she went through a rough time before...poor girl.

The bag I got was apple/banana flavored. I haven't had the opportunity (thanks goodness!) to try it out though and see how the buns like it.
