They're saying 7-9 inches and usually overestimate but who knows... This has been building for a few days I guess, even though Saturday & Sunday were beautiful. Sunday it was in the 70's and both days I had the windows open in the house.

Wow, it's really coming down! I'm sitting here at work, in a room with no windows so I can't keep track of how much it's coming down around here. . . working in the second floor dungeon sucks!

I'm having a hard time getting good depth pictures right now (or ANY pictures) because of the heavy snowbut I can say nothing has slowed down at all.

I have an area in the yard sectioned off for an iris flower bed. I have a picture of that area, and it wont be much longer before you can't see it at all. Once it gets "full coverage" I'll take a picture of that and put the comparisons side by side.

Here's the news channel link I always go to: http://www.ksdk.com/> As for the white-out conditions they mention, I'm bordering that town by mere minutes.

I miss snow so much. Don't know that I'd want as much as you're getting - but I do miss it.

Maybe they will send us home early. . . . . I just walked by a window to see and the highway right by me is not moving at all really. . . It's going to take me two hours to make the 20 minute trip home!

NO! Leaf, NO! It was it was so beautiful here yesterday Icould hardly contain my excitement. Today everything is ice here, and the sky is dark and the wind is cold. I don't want any more! It's time for spring!

I live in the UK and we had a little bit of snow this morning i was hoping it would snow loads so we didn;t have to go to school but it didn;t settle!!

We had rain...... now it's freezing rain... like you are getting snow.

It's thundering outside and has been for awhile now.

I'll try to get some pictures.

When I took my old dog outside to go potty - we were being pelted in the face by sleet...........

If I click my heals and say "let it be spring" do you think it will work?

Rosie does not want Spring, cuz then that means Summer is right around the corner (we don't get much of a "Spring" 'round here)...and once again suffering 115F heat...:grumpy:

NO CLICKING HEELS FOR SPRING!! :grumpy:

(hehe)

I agree with Trailsend, it's time for Spring!!! We didn't get out early today despite the atleast six inches of snow our cars are now buried under and to top it all off, it all came down since we got to work and the snowplow guy buried all of our cars even more! UGH! I am not even sure I want to attempt these roads.

I have the perfect solution...it can be Spring everywhere but Southern California...or more specifically, the Valley! YAY!! Solution found!

:biggrin2:

I lost power most of yesterday afternoon and evening. Work was hectic all night long because of the weather.

I did get more pics but will post them later. I have a 10 hour shift to work tonite and a lot to do today before I can even think of sleep.

Its funny. At my house we got 9.5" of snow. In some neighboring towns they got almost half or less - and some none at all.

Blech! Sunday was so beautiful in the 70's...we barbequed and lounged about outside.

And of course nowmy grill is covered with about 7 inches of snow. :grumpy:

We got buried last night and it's still coming down. We've got nearly a foot. The bad part is underneath is solid ice. I fell several times carrying water and hay to my animals this morning :(Yuck.

That looks like a good heavy snow! We could use some of that up here!

I'm looking forward to spring - it will be nice to walk on a sidewalk without worrying about skating into the middle of the street because of the wind
