I found a bit of solace

Tonight I spent an hour and a half sitting on thecouch snuggling with the babies one by one. When it wasn't their turnto be snuggled they huddled together right by my rump and behind thesmall of my back. I had to get a couple of pictures of them, they wereso adorable. I watched them play on the floor for awhile tonight too,some of theirantics reminded me of Ben, it was bittersweet.They are at a great age, a lot of fun to watch and interact with, I amthanking God that he gave them to me. Here some of them are, the otherswere behind my back.





This guy below, he looks a lot like Ben in his bone structure and the way he holds his ears, at least I think so.



This one below seems to have the lightest coat, more Sandy like Bens, it's trying to figure out where it's warm person went

Spending time with them has certainly helped ease my grief, it is hardto be sad in the face of such curiosity, development, and discovery,plus their adorable to boot.

I still can'tbelieve how quickly they change! They are so darn cute! You can tellthey are socializing well, they always look so comfy and happy!

I've thought about you and Ben so much, and your tribute to him withpictures found me bawling again. You gave us such great stories andpictures of Ben that it's hard not to feel like he was ours as well.

You continue to reach out, share, love, and give. You're just like Ben.

His babies are gorgeous. Thank God you have them and they have you at this very important time in their lives.

Yeah, they look so comfy cause they just gotfinished dodging those invisiblepredators, they do the fastzig-zag run and dart back and forth, it is really fun to watch. Afterabout fifteen minutes of playing they are ready for some snugglingThe key is to wear the babies out first then snuggle. I amstill trying to see a difference in their sex but can't seem to seeone:?I think I will call around and see if I can find someonewho can sex them for me, maybe our zoo would do it for free.

Carolyn, Fergi is doing well, she enjoyed a whole day of free reign inthe house and lots of extra love and attention. The babies seem to tickher off, they are venturing out of the box for longer periods of timeand will try to nurse as she is eating, she kicks up her heels and hightails it to her litter box or top shelf with her customized look ofcrabbiness. It's pretty funny, after awhile though she will lay downand the kits will groom her, I am sure she appreciates that part.

I remember this time too. The kits were bornabout 2 days after Bunbun died. It is hard to be sad in the presence oflittle ones.

It was so strange and wonderful to see their dad in them as they grew. You should keep a buck and a doe now.....

I've been dreaming about Bunbunquite a fewnightslately, and each time he turns toward me with those bigears cocked, and runs for all he's worth towards me.....just like healways did.....I can see his face, and every hair on him, and feel hisbig body as I squeeze him.....

It hurts still, but I'm starting to smile when I remember--and go hug Bub.

the first week is the worst.

Oh Fergi, this brought yet another tear to my eye. Yes, bittersweet.

I told my daughter last night about the big Daddy bunny and she tearedup and couldn't speak. She loved Ben the first time she sawhim. Funny how a little bunny can touch so many people, isn'tit?

That little guy with his feet in the air asleep...... absolutely precious. Makes your heart melt.

The little one who looks like Ben is adorable. Thank God forthe "unexpected" parenthood. Sometimes things are justsupposed to happen; at least I believe that is so.

Whenever I pick up Stitch I always turn her over onto her back andtouch her back feet they are so soft and puffy! She used to fight mewith this now she just lets me do what I want since Im stronger thenher LOL
