So very true, Bo. I think part of what happens as well is that we disregard it or don't trust our instincts when they are tapping us on the shoulder telling us that our babies are with us. Some have a tendency to talk ourselves out of it when coincidences happen. And if we don't, others may.

Carolyn, I would very much love that! You know, they don't air Ghost Hunters up here, but one of my brothers taped a bunch of episodes for me finally and I LOVE it. Couldn't find it on DVD here of course...I got the feel that it's popular so the stores run out of copies as soon as it comes in.

Ghost Hunters kinda cracks me up because the first year, they "debunked" (their favorite word) every fieldtrip they went on, but now, miraculously, they often find some type of paranormal activity going on there.

You should definitely check out a show called, "A Haunting". They air them on the Discovery Channel each day at 2:00 EST. If you ever see it, definitely watch it. I think you'll enjoy them. :)

But from the moment he left, I have felt his presence with me every day since. I don't 'sense' his physical being, but it is like he is within me, part of my heart, and he has been guiding me along. It is because of this that I no longer mourn him; instead, I feel great comfort whenever I think of my boy. I will always miss his being here in the physical, but he continues to be here in spirit, sharing his love.
This is so beautiful! :pink iris: I missed it earlier.

Thank you, Carolyn...:)

Bo B and Carolyn, I agree...I suspect we humans get so wrapped up in the physical, day-to-day events that we tend to not notice the little signs we may receive from those who are still with us in spirit. I've met so many people who have described to me something 'strange' or unexplainable that happened to them, only to have them then dismiss it as coincidence, or nonsense. Yet I think at the back of their minds they do believe that there was 'something' to it, otherwise the event itself would have long since been forgotten to them to even recall. And I too have met many who are quick to tell me that such things are entirely explainable, or that I was imagining it, or whatever...so I tend to only relate such events to those who seem to be more open to it.

One little thing that happened to me a few years ago:

They say that seeing feathers, esp. in unusual or unexpected places, is the sign of angels watching over you, or giving you a sign of their presence. One morning I woke up after having a very odd dream, something that left me with a feeling of 'connection' with other souls. I remember getting up after waking, wondering in my mind if it was just a dream, or if it had been some sort of higher-self message. As I walked from my bedroom into the (tiny) hallyway, 'something' urged me to look up. And as I did I saw a small white feather falling from the ceiling, coming down directly toward me. It landed at my feet and I picked it up, totally stunned. The ceiling is 9 ft. high, and there is nothing - no light fixture of any kind - in that area. So the feather came literally from out of nowhere. I picked it up and walked into the bathroom, placing it on the sink...then after I left the bathroom I went into my son's room to tell him what had happened moments before. After relating the story I went to fetch the feather and show it to him, but it was gone. I searched the entire bathroom but never did find it. To this day I still smile when I remember that little feather softly floating down toward me, and gently landing at my feet. :)

I don't think I ever posted this during S'more's brush with the reaper. She was soooo sick when this happen....and it was like a miracle. Tina's bunnie Misty was close to crossing, but was struggling to stay. I think she used some of her last strength to help S'more.

......here's the PM I sent Tina....check out the date and when it fits into this thread.

Hi Tina,

I just am so amazed with Misty. This must be so stressful for you.

I shared something with Carolyn and thought you might want to know also.

Keep in mind that I'm am sceptical of things like this, but have seen and felt things recently to make me more of a believer.

Last night I made my last check on the bunnies and turned off the light in their room. A few minutes later I was walking past their room and S'more was presenting herself to what appeared to be a tiny pink/purple orb in her cage. It was only there for a few moments and then it was gone.

I could see the faint glow on S'more's face so I know I wasn't imagining it. She was positioned with her back to the windows so it wasn?t a light or reflection from outside. I was standing in the doorway to their room and then walked up to her cage before it disappeared so I don't think it was something coming from behind me. And then there was just the way S'more was reacting. She was so calm and relaxed, but very obviously presenting herself. She stayed that way for a few moments after it disappeared and then calmly raised her head and looked at me with such peace on her face.

This morning S'more appeared to be her normal self again. She's pooping almost completely normal, eating, drinking, jumping around to get at her oats. I'm convinced that something came to visit her last night to tell her that she needed to get better and it wasn't her time to go yet. I think it was Misty.

Oh man, and I just re-read this:

It was quite real. I was looking at the doorway the goes to the hallwaythat leads to the bunnie room and the kitchen. I saw "something" passfrom the bunnie room side and go into the kitchen. It was a "figure"that was a bit taller than me and appeared to be wearing a blue shirtand was wearing glasses. It was so real that I went into the kitchen tosee who it was, because Danielle and I were the only ones in the houseat the time. No one was in the kitchen when I got there and the backdoor was locked from the inside. So I went to the bunnie room to checkthings out. All of the bunnies were sitting at the fronts of theircages, ears up, big eyed, very very quiet.

...and you know, it brought tears to my eyes. I didn't really know Buck (Carl), but it sounds like his presence was truly around you, Jim...
