my friend had a baby girl!

my friend had her veryfirst baby on monday- a healthy girl, 9 pounds 8 ounces! very big! her name is alayna grace and she and her mummy are resting well. alayna wasn't due until next week but at church on sunday, i prodded and poked at my friends tummy and told the baby to get out NOW so i could meet her! and i'm pretty sure she came out early just to meet me

i am hoping to go visit her in the next week or so. yay for tiny human-like creatures that emerge from inside of us!

YAYYY!! Congratulations to your friend!! Tell her it's okay, I know her pain...my Emily was 9lbs 14oz, and the epidural didn't work (despite them retrying THREE TIMES).

They had to break my 'little' brother's collarbone to get him out. He was 10lbs 11 oz I think...

Congrats to your friend tell her to get lots of rest in the hospitle because she won't get a lot once she gets home

when i was born, i had the cord wrapped around my throat and i couldn't breathe. i was so cute, i had bright red curly hair, hehe, i looked like ronald mcdonald without the clown make up

Oh congrats!

It made me laugh when you mentioned coming out like a waterslid hehe. Would be neat to find out what babies think just when they've just been born.. probably "I'M FREAKING FREEEZING!".
