well, Alex is overweight. i say its from lack of proper exercise.

He is eating kaytee timothy pellets, 1/8 cup of pellets, and a mix offresh greens. i would say several cups worth. and of course unlimitedhay. timothy and orchard (mostly orchard)

Alex was just 2 lbs last time he was weighted but i would guess he is3lbs now. he is a Holland lop by the way. and 1 1/2 yrs old

does everything i am feeding him seem fine?

Doesn't sound like the diet itself would be making him fat. A couple of questions:

Are you feeding him the pellets once per day? I feed mine Kaytee Timothy Complete and they get pellets once per day.

How much exercise is he getting? Exercise is an important tool in keeping the weight down.

What kind of treats is he getting? Depending on the treat, you mightwant to limit those that have high amounts of sugar in them. Craisinsare one of those items.

If his weight is a concern, try limiting him to just hay and water one day a week and see in about a month where his weight is.

he gets a two hour daily romp around the house

He seems pretty healthy to me! As long as he excersises and gets a healthy diet (I'm sure he does) then he is probably fine!

he has gotten VERY round! he looks like a ball. its a huge diffrence than it was 4 months ago

his fat sticks out from his sides. he is deffinally overweight

thanks for your conserns
