Hi Varna..do you mean your hubby puts in a wholecabbage?im sure that is to much cabbage, with my buns i cannot give themcabbage at allas it gives them gas and they get terribletummy aches and squishy poop and this was just a little bit.

Just tell your hubby to much of a good thing can hurt a bunny and cause more problems for Lucy

It can be so hard to get them to listen, don't theyknow were always right?! :D

My Mom has 2 rabbits, and her husband is constantly giving them storebought treats. They aren't the youngest of bunnies, both being around5-6 years old. Not that it's good for any rabbit to get that muchtreats, but it seems to cause them soft stool every time. My Mom willyell at him, he'll stop for a while. Pretty soon he's sneaking it tothem before she wakes up! BOOB that he is!

I even tried to talk to him about it, he claims "They give him sadlooks, like they are upset because he hasn't given them treats today".:foreheadsmack:

i noticed a bag of kALE IN THE FRIDGE AND IT MUST BE FOR LUCY

I DONT NO WHY HE IS GIVING IT TO HER HE NOS IT MAKES ME VERY ANGRY AND HES BEEN TOLD OF THE VET AS WELL BUT HE WONT LISTEN

VARNA XXXX

WHO IS VERY UPSET

IM CHUCKING IT OUT TOMORROW XXXX

on that note..lol is red cabbage bad forrabbits? i have half a head left from a salad I made..and I didn't knowif Skippy could have some or not.

I feed my bunnies red cabbage whenever I have some! I'm pretty sure it's good for them.

You know what you need Varna? One of those electric collarsused for dog training. Next time you catch him trying to givethe bunny a tummy problem? ZAAAAAAAAAP.

You could put the cabbage in a locked safe, thenphone every grocery store in a 20 mile radius of where you are, givethem your hubby's description, and ask them not to sell him anycabbage... :D

oops... double post!

Hmm.. maybe puta combo lock on her cage so he can't get in to give her the cabbage and kale?

Sounds like a little stubborn guy you've got over there! Do you buy the groceries? Or ddoes he?

Also, I've heard that rabbits can/cannot pass gas.. but I'm pretty surethey do. What would the gas do inside them to get out? When Pepsi hadgas, I would massage her tummy and feel something moving.
