I was just wondering if it's odd that my bunnytwitches sometimes when she hops. She'll be mid-hop and just kinda jerka little. It's not TOO severe, I was just wondering if this isnormal/why it is happening
?

OO that may be a binky. Where the rabbit justlike runs really fast and will hop in the air and twist and stuff.Nothing to worry about, it means they're happy!!

Definitely a binky! Its the equivalent of a dog wagging his tail. She's a happy bunny!

I've started noticing her twitching even when she is not hopping. Is this a binky also? or perhaps something else..?

Is it like the whole body twitches...or does she shake just her head?

If it's pretty constant uncontrolled twitching then I would be concerned and possibly plan a vet visit.

If it's only once in a while it may still just be a typical bunniething. Our Brindle will be sitting quietly and then all of a suddenshe'll do a body twitch and take off doing thebunnie500.Sometimes she'll get excited by somethingandshe'll do a little "in-place" binkie, too.

I hope it's nothing to worry about in any case.

Usually my bunnies will have a full-body twitchprior to a bunny500, but sometimes there butt will randomly twitch fora few seconds. Is that what you are describing?

I think that's it. I'm not sure exactly. It'smostly when she's hopping. I only saw her do it standing still once ortwice, so I'm not terribly concerned. I guess I'll just watch hercarefully for now. Thanks!

Binky, our rabbit, loves to binky off walls, furniture, and cage. Our other rabbit, Boo, is much more laidback than Binky. He will binky but not even close to theextent of Binky.

My Maggie does the 'twitch' thing, which is aprelude to a full fleged binky. She's kind of big (8 or 9 pounds), andwhen she binkies it's like what JimD described a Giant Flemmish to do -about 2 feet off the floor and a slow motion turn. Really cool to watch!

Nick - when I first got him (at one year old) did total 360 binkies! Helooked like a helicopter! Now he just jumps a few inches up and shakesall over (he has some vision problems now).
They look comical doing the binkies together, as they are so different! But they are both happy little buggers!

Hey! Scubagirl68 - I just realized you are the one with that GORGEOUS black and white Lionhead!
On second thought - that poor little beautiful bun may have a seriousailment - PM me your address, and I'll come to pick her up and bringher back home with me for 'observation'...;)
