Saturday night my bf brought an apple to thecoffee table with the intention of eating it. He eitherforgot or was saving it for later, but he left it on the coffee tableand we both went to bed. I woke up sunday morning at my usualtime to feed the bunnies breakfast... I walked into the livingroomassuming to see the same "morning scene" that I usually see, instead...I noticed right away that something was up!

Opie was hiding under the futon and I knew right away she did somethingbad. She's usually waiting right next to her bowl, ready topounce on her pellets. But she wouldnt come out from underthe futon even after I called her name... I scanned the roomquickly and soon enough I found out her "secret". There was atrail of apple juice across the coffee table, and sitting in the middleof the footstool next to the coffee table was a perfect eaten apple(all that was left was the core) in a puddle of applejuice.

Sometime during the night Opie had discovered the apple and jumped onthe coffee table, dragged it across the table and onto the nearbyfootstool and sat there all night (judging from the bunny buttindention in the middle of the footstool) eating that apple!

and thats not all!!

To avoid this from happening again, I made sure that when I went to bedsunday night there were no food products left on the coffeetable. I went to bed satisfied that I had outsmarted Opie, but what did I find this morning??? She was sitting in themiddle of the coffee table calmly "looking" for moreapples!! In the meantime she had chewed throughsome magazines that were on the coffee table... luckily she didn't chewmy laptop wire! Whew!!

ugh... my bunny is just too smart for me...

Todd knows better than to eat a "nana" unless he wants to get mauled byOpie! I have a great video of her jumping onto his lap andgrabbing the banana out of his hand! The look on Todd's facewas priceless!

Greg made the mistake of rattleing things inbunny's food cupboard. He picked up the Craisin bag andMelody charged him at top speed. For some reason, he wasafraid to hand feed her and put the craisin in her bowl -chicken!
