Hello,

My bunny's right ear seems to be "down" all day. Whenever I lift it up, it "falls" back down. He was always like this (despite being a "standing ear" bunny) that placing her ears "downwards/all over the place" but I suspect something might be wrong.
I smelled inside: nothing. No bruises nor any other stuff can be seen. If I tamper the outside of the ear no reaction.
When I try to "reach" to the inside he runs away.

I will visit an exotic vet on friday if it doesn't get better.

(Also His partner Bunny passed away 3 weeks ago, (the one with thymoma))

Ok I think it got worse. Now he is not even letting me touch him. :(

I will visit the vet.

So visited the vet: The ear is definetley bigger and warmer, however otoscope examination was flawless, everything is okay inside. The vet took a sample of the inside wax: no parasites or any that kind of stuff.

Meloxy 2x1ml until Monday.

Well....

Unfortunately you can't see inner or middle ear infection without x-ray or CT scan. Hope your bunny is OK.

Yes, they mentioned that, however that was not an option, since there were no doc who could do the anesthesia.
I was pushing them to do an xray without anesthesia, like I will hold the rabbit, or just try it at least once we might be able to do it without anesthesia. However they told that its "impossible" without it.

Anyway the doc was kind to ask his colleague as well about going with the meloxy would be ok for now, and she agreed.

Fingers crossed.
