It wasn't attacked. No eye discharge, but yes some inflammation around the eyes (reddish boundaries), no bleeding. The fur on it's head looks wet and crusty. Was it attacked by another animal? Does it have eye discharge, nasal discharge, inflammation around the eyes/face, or any bleeding? Any mouth breathing or showing it has trouble breathing?

Thank you so so much JBun. You're the sweetest most helpful. Thank you.If there is inflammation around the eyes, and especially if you start seeing any sticky white discharge, then conjunctivitis is the most likely cause of that. Which would need the correct rabbit safe antibiotic eye drop to treat it, and possibly anti inflammatory.

If there isn't any white discharge, if you have the rabbit disease myxomatosis in your country, that is a possible cause for swelling of the face and around the eyes. If there's a chance it's this, this rabbit needs to be quarantined from your other rabbits, as myxomatosis is very contagious and most often fatal, but treatment can still be attempted with a rabbit safe antibiotic(eg. enrofloxacin) and anti inflammatories(meloxicam), as some few rabbits have been known to recover from the illness.

Medirabbit: myxomatosis in rabbits
If myxomatosis isn't present in the rabbit population of your counttry, then conjunctivitis would be the most likely and common cause for eye inflammation and discharge, especially in young rabbits. If you need a knowledgeable rabbit vet to examine and treat your rabbit, this FB group for your country, may be able to give you the name of a rabbit vet near you.
