my dos is currently pregnant and I estimate she is near 31-32 days solely based on the fact she build a nest and pulled on a little bit of fur from her dewlap. Her nipples have protruded so I’m confident she is pregnant from her heating habits to even how she is lying down ( she’s lying on her belly when she is usually a loaf girl)

My question right now is that Angel was usually a grumpy bunny and always kept her distance and never wanted to be petted or anything of the sort. But the it’s few days she has gotten very lovely and sweet by licking me and going crazy for pets!

She will only poo and wee outside of the area set up for her at the moment, so I have to let her out to pee, she holds it in. Since then I have expanded the areas

Are these 2 common behaviours for pregnancy?

Update she is excessively grooming herself especially her tail and is breathing heavy!

I think I hear squeaks but I’m not sure

Sounds like the little ones are on their way 🥰

Does changing from sweet to moody or moody to sweet is fairly common, when they are pregnant or after having their babies. I had a doe that was a GRUMPY little thing while pregnant, but as soon as she had her babies, she was just the sweetest happiest little doe, and remained that way after her litter was weaned, and then later after she was spayed. Pregnancy hormones can affect them in all sorts of ways.

Litter habits vary with all rabbits. I can imagine in nature/the wild, a pregnant doe would not want to pee or poop near her nest as it could attract predators.
