Hello. My bunny is still moving his head, he came to me yesterday. Is it normal? I attached a video.

It looks like he's scanning. Usually this happens more in red and blue eyed rabbits due to the poor eyesight that they can sometimes have. The scanning is to help with their depth perception. But it can also sometimes happen in rabbits with other eye colors.

Is it congenital? Is it possible she will give it to her babies? It is my first rabbit, I bought her especially to my small house rabbitry. I feel that I should give her back and buy another- healthy one.

There's nothing wrong with her in itself, some bunnies have a poorer eyesight than others and she is simply 'scanning'. They mostly do that in a new environment they're not sure about yet.
It's related to a REW gene but doesn't necessarily get passed on to the babies. The sad thing though is, depending where you got her from, bringing her back would probably mean they would put her to sleep, which is silly if the scanning is her only health 'concern'...

It's a normal eyesight issue with rabbits. It just looks like she's trying to get a better look at something she's not sure of. To me it doesn't look unusual or like it's a problem, but it's up to you if you want to keep her or not, if you're uncomfortable with it.

I've moved this thread to 'Rabbitry and showroom', as this is something better discussed with fellow breeders.
