I understand your difficulty. I have had a few difficult buns as well. I will have to say that the following video is really a solution. I know you'll think (like I did) that your rabbit will never behave the way the one in this video does. The one in the video sure seems calm. HOWEVER, the key is what she shows and explains. She came up with this particular method when having to work with all kinds of rabbits at a rescue. She had to find a way to clip nails by herself with the most difficult rabbits.
So, the key is to follow e v e r y t h i n g in the way shown -- use a table, have it at the right height, position rabbit the same way, do the "press, press, clip" thing, and even do the back leg shaky thing.
I definitely had my doubts with my rabbit, but I was determined to follow her advice precisely. (must've watched the video half a dozen times to get it all down) It really did work!
