Rabbit playing with curtains and always wanting to get up on table. What’s this about?

It’s so funny to me how my little guy always finds something to do. A few days ago I saw him jumping on the chairs to get to the table. He wouldn’t stop getting on it either lol Even when I removed the chairs and put some distance between the chair and the table he didn’t care 😂 It’s really cute but rabbits don’t belong on the table 😅 I’m just lucky my dad or aunt hasn’t seen. He also found out to reach the window and get on it. I’m not sure what’s up with that 😂 Lastly, he loves to play with the curtains!!! All I hear is scratch scratch and him biting the curtain. He does it for a while then gets too tired and falls asleep or lays down and does more troublemaker stuff. Does anyone else’s bunny do this?

Yes! Sir Lawrence loves getting on top of things! I sometimes call him my little mountain goat!! My profile pic is when he wanted up on the table while I was doing a jigsaw puzzle. I put benches in front of both my front windows so they could jump up and look out, but like your Louie, he doesn't much care about the outside, he just wants to play with (and eat) the curtains!

Even I am stumped. Shen and Xiao Wu have been extra lately. They, literally, started grooming then chewing on my pillows and bed. I even got them new toys to play with and they choose the pillows. They have been scratching at my leg randomly and nipping me (friendly nips) to get my attention while I'm trying to work. Must be that time of season for bunnies to be super active, mischievous and extra cute. Has yours ever run up to a freshly cleaned litter box and eat the hay while sitting outside of it? Mine has. 😂

omg yes lol you know what? he’s actually been crazy ever since I got him neutered. I’m guessing because he was confined to one spot only for a few days. He would bite and tug on the hut to get out lmaooo. I felt so bad but it was so he wouldn’t hurt himself. Anyways! Back to what you said. Yes he sometimes has his whole butt out while eating hay or he’ll yank hay out of the litter box instead of actually going in it. Funny and cute 😂 another thing is he zooms to his litter box. Last time he went so fast he messed up all the litter and hay. I had barely put it in and I had to fix it up 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

Hopping onto places, trying to rearrange blankets and pillows, zooming in and out of litter boxes and rooms, getting onto things and into things they're not supposed to or reaching them when you're not looking. Shen, this little brat, got onto my bathroom sink counter! Without us knowing he was in the bathroom....🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi everybody ❤

I´m just sitting down right here with a good cup of tea and having such a good time. How I love watching the pictures and reading about all the goofy stuff you all share about your Bonnie friends here at this thread. Just some awesome happy Bonnies that have the very best home ever. Hardly nothing else can makes me happier ❤

Can I just break in a little bit with some really happy and good news right here if I may? I´ve just heard from my wonderful rabbit breeder friend that my new little Bonnie girl Bianca will be ready to leave mom by the end of august. Can´t wait to share the first pictures with you all 😍

I have plenty of holes in the bottom of my curtains thanks to my rabbits -- so you may want to raise any curtains that you don't want damaged.

I have several sweatshirts and t shirts with ventilation holes kindly added by my rabbits :p

Genius rabbits 😎 Anyone else have rabbits who play with the balloon string?
Not really with balloon string, we don't really get balloons for any occasion anymore.
Iris will play with my pants though. I don't know if it's me she's after, or just the pants themselves. I finally let her roam around a bit as her stitch seemed okay again, o boi those binkies and zoomies. And plenty, plenty of stomps. When she decided to calm down and come investigate me, tugged with her teeth, my pant leg and then proceeded to dig at it. Now i wouldn't mind if those pants weren't on my legs that time.
Storm will showcase his beautiful spotted belly when he comes up to his door to beg me for treats or pets. He would often slide back down on the grids and create music. He's also started honking. He's never been one to honk but now when he gets food, as he begs or knows it's coming, he will just speedo to me and softly honk in the process. Nurts, nurts, nurts. He will also circle me and then, often but not always, run off with his treat and then let me peek at him butt-twitching rapidly. He used to twitch for only banana, but now fresh greens, pellets, cucumbers too-honk honk.
Took a small stroll in the yard until biting bugs forced me to go inside. He found my open patch of supposed herbs. The only thing that actually grows is dill, and that in rows where i didin't drop seeds. I watched gleefully as Storm helped me clear the dill from unwanted rows.
I would like to take Iris out too, but she's not fully healed yet, not vaccinated, and as of now, way too flighty-if needed, i wouldn't be able to "catch" and redirect her as i can with Storm. She is still skeptical of us.

That’s interesting. What is a honk? I’ve never heard of that. Ahh yes.. the occasional tug and bite at pants or shirts lol Does anyone’s rabbit ever bite and scratch when you don’t let them go somewhere? My rabbit free roams all day in the living room but there are times when the door is open and he’s able to go to the other rooms. Since he’s never been there he always wants to go and explore. Silly but it does seem like he gets angry and I could only imagine him saying “Let me in!!!” I heard dill is super good for rabbits. I was thinking of getting him the carrot and dill treats from oxbow but I’ll have to wait a bit.

I guess if one hasn't owned a puberty bun, or a really vocal one, they probably wouldn't know what a honk sounds like. How vocal is Louie?Honk is sort of like a small soft grunt? Not like tooth purring, not like a small sneezh, that honk sound usually comes from their schnozz. Sometimes i honk back to Storm and he will respond, what a sweetie. Back when Musti used to be a teenager, he would circle mum endlessly and those honks were LOUD. After his fix, he would do it in his sleep, sounded akin to soft snoring. I have a short sound file but i cannot upload it anywhere...

Also, Iris will go NUTS if i open the door but won't let her walk out the crate. I guess that's the whole reason why she had to pick at my pants-wanted to get out but i was blocking her. Storm will bump me, then nip, and if i don't move soon enough, he will try to force his way through. But sometimes he's nice enough to wait until i move. Lümi would kiss me if i was blocking him, and he would softly nibble at my skin. I miss that, i know for a fact that Storm will never give me a kiss as he's my boss and Iris is too skittish for that to ever happen. Back to the point, Musti would just flop into me if i wouldn't let him go by.

Hi everybody❤

Wonderful just sitting down with tea once again today and enjoying all your loving inputs to this thread🙂. Thank you ArtistChibi 😍for taken the initiative and to all of you 😍for your reactions and patience letting me squeeze in a little bit with my own great news.

Omg! That’s great! What type of bunny is it? And I can’t wait to see a cute bun bun. I just look back to when louie was a little munchkin. So cute. Is this bunny gonna be your first or do you have multiple bunnies already?

Bianca will be a little Ducth tanned Hermelin. I simply can´t imagine my life without a cute little Bonnie jumping around in my home but I always need plenty of time letting my dearest Bonnies join each other in Heaven (and in my heart) before sincerely can welcome a new little one.

Amalie (passed away earlier this year 😢) also came from my wonderful rabbit breeder friend❤

I'm glad I'm not the only one with holes in my shirts lol This is a new behavior for my 5 month old Bun Jack. He also started non stop licking me. What is up with that? First a nibble and then he will lick my chest for like 10 minutes straight. Anybody else's bun do this?
