Hey guys, so I have a rabbit named louie. He’s 5 months two weeks. As long as I can remember he’s always pooped all day but since he’s gotten older his pooping times have changed. Now he tends to poop only around 4PM and thought the rest of the day. Is this normal? It just tends to worry me and makes me think he’s constipated because he doesn’t poop in the morning. He gets his veggies at 9:30 and then he goes to munch on hay but only pees doesn’t poop. He runs around and sleeps all day up until 4PM. Why is that? He just pooped out a bunch of them 🤣

All rabbits are different. Some are very particular about when and where they poop. Some will poop just while they eat. Some will poop and use the litter box throughout the day. And some are messy little pigs and poop everywhere, all day long :p

As long as your buns poops are consistently normal looking and a good size, and he is behaving like is normal for him, I would just chalk it up to being part of his personality.

Nice 👍🏽 That’s good to hear.

Mine will do the same! She spends a large part of the day sleeping so she only seems to poop early morning after her veggies and a quick much of hay and then later on in the evening when she becomes more active. I guess we should be thankful they don’t poop everywhere 24/7? lol 🙂

Mine just went back to pooping all day. Makes me think he really was constipated. He’s doing great now just a trouble maker now. He just fell off the kitchen chair doing god knows what. Silly bunny but I hope he’s okay.
