hello. my rabbit Yui has been suffering from what seems to be rabbit arthritis for a while now, i'm not quite sure her age since she was a rescue, but i know for sure that she's older than 8 -- i'd guess maybe 10 years old. anyway, over the past 2 days, she seems to have lost nearly all control of her backside; she cannot stand up properly and instead drags herself around, the only movement she can do is a scared kick of her back legs and even then it's more like.. a fast twitching, if that makes sense. she doesn't seem too interested in eating her pellet food but will eat hay and greens if brought over to her. i'm not sure about water since she can't seem to drink it properly, she fell into her water bowl twice. i've been trying to keep her clean because since she can't move properly, she's been getting incredibly dirty on her side from poop/pee, i've been lightly washing the area and then drying her as much as i can. someone recommended looking into pet CBD oil to help with possible joint problems.. is that worth it? i'm seriously at a complete loss here and it's very upsetting watching her struggle like this. i also work full time every day which makes it even harder to properly look over her and help her. at the moment, and for the majority of this past time, she's been laying in her box "house" and seems to be most comfortable hiding away in there.
