I noticed one of my rabbits didn't want any pellets this morning and she was hiding behind the sofa, I gave her some gas drops and massaged her belly and she did a few enormous egg shaped poops in my lap which I've attached a picture of to compare with her normal sized ones. I can't get to a vet until this afternoon (currently late morning) as my partner's at work with the car and it would be a 20 minute walk in the freezing cold which I don't think would do her any favours.
I read that egg shaped poops can be a sign of megacolon but she's 4 and has never had that kind of poop before, plus they're golden and pretty hard, the same consistency as regular poop.
A possible thing that could've stressed her out is I'm trying to bond her with a new boyfriend (we lost one not lot ago to bloat and I'm desperate for it not to happen again)
Also she's just started going through an enormous moult and she's a lionhead, so I'm worried she has a partial blockage from all the hair. Am I right in thinking it's not a full blockage as long as she is pooping a little bit? I'm trying to figure out if there's anything extra I can do while I'm waiting to get to the vet other than gas drops and massages.
She's had a little drink and I managed to tempt her with a little bit of apple, I've given her some critical care too but I think most of that just went on her face as she's a really strong wriggler.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

On the next massage she did two more normal round poops and then ate some banana and hay (5 more poops in the space of a few minutes), and is now back behind the sofa. She spends a lot of time behind there anyway as the heater's there. I'm still concerned though because usually she's crazy about pellets and she still hasn't touched them.

I wouldn't suspect megacolon because megacolon symptoms also include diarrhea and weight loss. Seems like she has a gut slow down, probably from stress or fur in her gut as you mentioned. I would set up a playpen and put her in the pen so you can keep a very close eye on her. Put the heater that is behind the couch in the pen so she can stay warm. When rabbits are sick their temperature tends to drop causing them to go into shock, so a heater will keep that from happening.
Offer her LOTS of hay and water, they will keep everything moving in her gut. I would remove the pellets so she will eat hay, and the banana because the sugar will just make her worse. If you hear her stomach gurgling and/or if she is pushing her stomach to the ground, you can give her 1-2 ml of gas drops every hour for 3 hours, and then 1-2 ml every 3-8 hours or as needed. If the gas drops do not work after the second dose, please take her to the vet. You could also give her tummy massages (see video).
Try to keep her as calm as possible so she doesn't get stressed. I know it is always difficult to keep them calm when you are having to give them medicine, but try the best you can.
I hope she gets better!

You've probably already been to the vet, so I won't add any of those suggestions.

Egg shaped poop can be a sign of megacolon if it's a regular ongoing thing. If it just happens once or only once in a while, then probably has to do with a gut disturbance, which is what this sounds like with your bun. Probably a gut slowdown, which backs things up and can result in larger than normal irregular shaped poop. But once that passes, poop and everything should go back to normal.

Molting and the stress of bonding, can definitely be a cause of the gut slowing down. So if you continue bonding while she is still molting, you'll want to be very cautious and very attentive to her stress levels and the exact amount of hay she continues to eat. If her hay eating reduces, and/or she seems very stressed, you may want to hold off on the bonding until her molt is done, or go about it much more gradually and slowly as to reduce her stress levels.

Thanks for your advice, luckily she was completely back to normal by the evening :) I spent the day giving her gas drops and just feeding her hay and grass which she loves. I had some critical care but she absolutely hates it, so once she started eating more and more hay and grass I stopped trying as it was just stressing her out as you mentioned. I could see some hair in her poops so I think there was some hair she was having trouble passing, I'll just have to make sure I spend twice as long brushing her.
The vet gave me some emeprid and I gave her a few pellets this morning just to satisfy her so she wouldn't sulk and make me worry again, I think you're right about giving her a break from bonding. She spends every bonding session just trying to escape whatever space I try them in and isn't the slightest bit interested in him.
