Hello guys, haru just flopped, and I went to pet her and message her gassy belly as usual, we always do this, any time she flops or lay down I would message her belly and pat on her head, I would also tease her and touch her hands, nothing new, while i was messaging her belly she got up, i was talking to her as usual and i touched her paw, yes she doesn’t like it, but she would never get angry or aggressive about something like that, she would usually put her hands under her or leave, as soon as I pointed at her hand, even before touching it, she attacked, haru doesn’t really bite alot, she just hit me with both of her hands and made a sound, she’s never aggressive and whenever we touch her if she hates it she would go somewhere else and that’s it, what is that? does it have anything to do with her starting to dig? or meeting my cousins rabbit? it’s been a few days since meeting her though..
She started to dig a few days ago, she doesn’t dig in her litter or blankets, she only does it in flat surface like the ceramic floor.. she’s doing it alot and that is a new behavior, does it have anything to do with the aggression?

How old is Haru?

Anyway, my opinion:
That is not an attack, and not aggressive. It is a misconception that rabbits are cuddly pets - they are way less cuddly than cats. Well, there are huge differences between rabbits. They have their own head and will, know what they want or not and express that. Normal social interactions can include humping, chasing, pawing, tufts of fur flying and so on, even biting to some extent, since they know pretty well that we are not fellow rabbits some of that is reserved for other rabbits, but they don't hold back with what is going on in their little heads towards us.
That gets more pronounced when they come of age, depending on character.

So, your rabbit just wasn't in the mood, maybe was disturbed thinking rabbit thoughts, who knows. For her that was the thing she felt was right at that moment. Just live with it. Learn to deal with it if it reaoccurs, that's just how rabbits are - they have their own will and personalities, that's actually one thing I like about them.

She’s almost nine months old, lunging is okay?

Is she spayed? If not is the bunny she was with a few days ago? Any chance of pregnancy?

My lop did this to my dad last night and nipped at him, bit I think it's because she didn't like what he was doing. He doesn't know bunnies and so in turn doesn't know how to play with her.
I noticed she doesn't like my cats toys and she will lunge at them if the "move" in a certain way.

But I'd suggest that if she isn't fixed, you do that soon. It helps to calm down their hormones and females have less chance of cervical cancer.

The vet said that she doesn’t have a uterus, so either she’s spayed or was born this way.. just now i saw Tiktoks about people touching their rabbits nose, head, back, and then they would put their arm infront of the rabbit and the rabbit would lick them.. we tried it with haru and she lunged at my mom🤡 it’s wierd because she’s usually okay with touching anywhere other than her back legs and we touch her all the time..

Now every time I look at her she looks evil to me😂😂

Soo sweet looking though.
Don't worry too much just keep sitting with her and being in her company. Keep tabs on when she lunges or grunts because there could be some underlying issue going on.
That being said, neither of my buns like to be held and my lionhead doesn't even allow me to pet him and I've had him now 3 years. It saddens me but at the same time we all cohabitate and are always together and they do interact with me, but on their terms.
I get a groomer in to do their nails and the last time, my girl actually screamed at the ladies when they went to pick her up 🙄. I couldn't believe it😳. I cried 😥 but it didn't prevent them from doing their job thank god 💗.
These are my two buns 🥰.

Haru used to hate it when we touch her, even if she’s sleeping she would get up and sleep somewhere else, I started to pet her once while she’s eating her pellets, and when it became okay for me to pet her once, I started to pet her two times, then three and so on.. it took me a long time but now it’s okay to touch her as much as I want😂 btw your buns are very cute♥️.

It’s a possibility that she grew tired of you touching her paws. You said she really didn’t care for it but tolerated it normally. This was probably her way of saying no more. As humans we do the same thing. We may allow someone to do or say things until one day we may be upset about other stuff or just plain tired of it and we lash out. I know my buns don’t like belly, tails and paw rubs, so it’s only what they like, head, cheek rubs and behind the ears❤️They LOVE IT!
