Can i put an un neutered buck with a neutered buck, or should i wait?

I have recently got a Netherlands dwarf buck who’s currently 12 weeks But as he is a dwarf the vet has said that he cannot be neutered untill he is 6 months due to his size; i am looking to bond him with my 1 year old french lop buck who is already neutered. Could i begin to bond them yet or should i wait untill my new bun is neutered but this wouldnt be for a while yet.
They are both in hutches next to each other, and have been showing good signs when let out in their runs next to each other but i am hesitant to put them together yet as i am unsure of the answer

There is no advantage to putting them together at this point. Hormones change everything. So even if they seemed to be best buddies right away, that can change on a dime when hormones kick in. They could suddenly begin fighting without any warning. That could sabotage their future bonding.

As long as they seem ok living nearby each other, then you can keep doing that. If they start showing signs of aggression even as they are separated, then you may need to move one out of sight of the other.

In the meantime, you may want to look around for some more experienced vets. Even though your guy is small, you shouldn't have to wait until he's 6 months to get neutered. A more experienced vet will typically neuter as soon as plums are visible or not too long after -- if the vet is experienced enough.
