I can understand this, made the same stupid mistake with Odin. I had to make a few more vet check ups until they accepted him and it was perfect in time for him getting GI stasis. So I managed to dodge a bullet there.
I can semi-understand the reason why they want a definitive diagnosis, but at the same time, I find them being a little unreasonable. I think that as long as I don't try to put a claim on the lump once I get approved, they should have no reason to accept me.

Thank goodness you were able to get approved before Odin getting GI stasis! I wish the insurance company were a bit more lenient, especially if my case involves just fatty tissue. My veterinarian even told me to tell the insurance company to call her if they had any questions so I'm crossing my fingers that she can vouch for me.

I sure hope you all have good luck with your rabbit's tummy problems! I lost one of my boys due to a stomach ache and a splay so he couldn't eat, but yes get as much exercise as you can and make sure you aren't giving them to many oats. A little bit of oats is good for skin and fur but too much can cause stomach problems and keep up with the hay!
