I guess some could say Biscuit is a carpet enthusiast or lover. He will dig and pull it all up if he could.

I'm looking for a cheap, safe material to put under his x-pen. I'm planning on covering it with fleece because he chews a lot and will eat everything more than likely it will be a sheet with soft blankets on top so if he digs the bottom won't be exposed.

I'd prefer links from Walmart or Amazon. His cage is roughly 16 sq ft. If he's not in his cage he's running around the house, backyard, or my room for a few hours at a time. So probably about 3-4 hours a day out of his cage.

So does anybody have any suggestions or links?

Actually I want to know the same thing! Bunster chews EVERYTHING. After she gets it expect it to be destroyed :) .

I’ve currently (well for at least 10yrs give or take) got a little carpet digger on my hands too. At the moment I’m using old bed sheets and towels on the floor as Apollo can’t be on carpet as it’s too abrasive for his hocks. And while that works well and he won’t dig it as it’s under some furniture, it doesn’t look too nice. I mean it could look nice if it was nice sheets :p but since they are old it’s tolerable but I’m changing it. I’m looking for an area rug or a soft rug. Any one should be good but if you want a link to one I’d get. This isn’t specifically the one I’d get but it’s a fair price and looks quite nice

A lot of people use puzzle mats covered with sheets too!

I use puzzle mats because Theo doesn't chew them. In Biscuit's case, I would use a tarp and then cover it with towels, some fleece (but not a lot because it can cause sore hocks), and the finish covering it with the rug that Apollo's Slave sent a link to. IKEA also has super cheap nice rugs that I sometimes use for Theo.

haha. I plan to go to ikea to get my rug! But they asked for Walmart or amazon links and I’m from England where Walmart isn’t really a thing so I used amazon ;)
