Hi,

Can anyone let me know what kind of breed is my Bunny?
I was told it was a Netherland Dwarf but defitinely don't think it is. It's only 2months old.

Kindly advise please.
Thank you!

Not Netherland dwarf. Just some tips on your set up. Just put the litter in the litter box, not on the floor, this confuses them on where to go while you keep him just in that cage. With him only being 2 months old he will soon outgrow that cage. If you can get an xpen then that will be much better. Use the old cage as a litterbox, then you can put litter all over the floor. And that hay holder is a great toy but it does not hold anywhere near enough hay for what they need each day. They need the same amount of hay as big as they are every day. When you give him the hay put it directly beside the litterbox while you keep him in the cage. When you make the whole cage his litterbox you can just place it near the corner that he likes to go in. I'm not sure how big your water bottle is but a lot of us here use bowls instead because it is easier for them to drink out of a bowl and some say that they stay slightly dehydrated on a water bottle. I don't know if you are feeding pellets or not but just make sure to just get the plain pellets, not with any added colorful stuff or seeds in it. And they can have more pellets as a young bun but after 6 months old they only need 1/4- 1/2 cup per day depending on if he will be a small bunny or a large bunny.
I'm not trying to judge you on your set up or anything, I'm just offering some friendly advice! We also have our 2019 and 2020 cage thread that I will link if you need other ideas for a new set up!

It does not look like a Netherland Dwarf that's for sure. Maybe some mini rex?
Thank you. I am just so curious on what breed he is.

Hi, thank you for your tips. This photo was taken on the first day when i brought him home.He was just 1month plus. Now he's 2 months & litter trained & roams freely in my house. As i leave the cage door open hence he will hop in for food & "business" in his tray & he stil loves sleeping in his cage at night too. As for the hay holder, he doesn't eat from there though as he has another feeding bowl at the corner of the cage near his green "house" there where he will sit on that "house" & eat from the bowl. I just tend to leave that hay ball in case he just wants to reach out for it. Yes,he is still feeding on pellets. I give him Oxbow young rabbit pellet,Oxbow Hayblends & Oxbow Alfalfa as well. Occasionally, i will give him apple as a treat too. Anyway, thank you so much for your tips. Really appreciate it. Cheers!

Not mini Rex either. Maybe a mix of it. Fur is too long and not the right type for a mini Rex. Do you have any recent photos they change so much in the first 6 months. Glad to know that he is free roam!

It might be a mini satin and mini rex mix. But that is just a guess. And you might think that because they don't have either type of fur they can't be a mix of those, but you have to have both of one or the other to get one type of fur. And still, it could be neither of those but this is my best guess.
