RO convention

What if we did a national Rabbits Online Convention. Where we all meet each other and we have name tags that had our screen names on them. I think this would be really cool. How many people would come to something like this?

Back when the Original creater of RO was here, those of us who were local did Christmas meetups. Its hard when so many people are from so far away but there were a bunch of us that all lived pretty close. There were rabbits all over my living room one year.

I know that a lot of us are in the US, I wonder if we could do it in like a central location like Missouri for like a national one. And maybe we could do smaller ones in like the center of the four sections of the US. That sounds like so much fun to have a bunch of rabbits in your living room.

It would be pretty hard to get everyone together as there are people from all over the world on this forum! but sounds like fun...

A great idea in theory, but probably wouldn't pan out as well as hoped. People have work and school to plan around, some people (like me) wouldn't be able to attend for financial reasons unless it was local, plus many of our very active and valued members are minors who would have to sell their parent(s) on the idea...

I would absolutely LOVE to meet forum bunns and their humans in person... but I just don't see it happening.

Organizing something like that more locally (like at regional bunfests) is another thought, as it'd get people out in support of both rabbits as well as the forum, and it's something people might be more willing to drive a longer distance towards.

I don't know how many people here are within driving distance of each other... we see pretty well-represented all over the place.
