I’ll attach a photo- I found a little sac of blood on my floor today and no idea what it is. I asked a bunny breeder and she has no idea either. I have a female and a male, and i have a feeling that the bubble came from my female since i saw her pulling at her butt area this morning. Both are acting fine and normal as of now. help?

Are male and female kept together? Are they spayed and neutered? What is their diet like?
they are kept together, male is neutered and my female is supposed to get spayed on sunday, she just turned 4 months old and my male was neutered before i got her. they free roam together 24/7

I got him neutered in June, and I got her in August

Have you looked them over for any injuries?
yes i did there are no visible signs of injury on either bunny

If it came from her I would say maybe something to do with the reproductive system, but with her being so young I'm not so sure. Unless you start seeing more of these or more blood anywhere, I would say that she should be alright until you get her to the vet on Sunday, then you can just ask the vet to look her over.

And he can look for any abnormalities on the uterus and ovaries in surgery to see if that is a potential cause.
yes yes that was the plan. I froze the little bubble in a baggy and i’m going to bring it with and ask, i’ll post an update on sunday and let you know
