I have a 6 year old male half lion head half new England lop. Got him when he was only a few weeks old. I litter box trained him and he is not neutered. He lives in our basement (which has a cement floor) and he has periodically urinated outside his litter box here and there but has always returned to using his litter box. My husband and I moved 3 weeks ago to a different place, still with a cement floor in the basement where he lives. He will not use his litter box. I out dropping in the box and try to move the box where he has been urinating with no success. I am at my wit's end on what to do. I clean up after his mess with a homemade cleaning solution of water, rubbing alcohol and Dawn dish soap. He urinates and poops around the box, (which is the same box he has always had and the same litter which is pine shavings) but he won't use the box since we have moved. What gives??

I can't help with the litterbox issue but please don't use pine shavings, they are very bad for rabbits and can cause respiratory illness. Use horse stall wood pellets. About $7 for a 40lbs bag at Rural King or like stores.

Most rabbits have a corner they prefer and you will see them going there and pooping there put a litter box there and boom btw you should use the litter for rabbits it’s soft and is suggested to use or hay but it might make a mess inside but they do need to eat hay hope this helped
