I found out the hard way that the flea treatment I was using for my dogs wasn't working... I switched their spot on treatment and now they're all clear, but my poor little indoor bunny must've picked them up while the dogs still had them. What spot on treatment can I use for him? He's a holland lop, around 8 mos, and about 2 lbs. I've been trying to search for one that's safe for bunnies EVERYWHERE but I can't find anything. I've tried picking them out by hand/combing, and this small animal flea spray but that didn't work at all.

Revolution is safe for rabbits, but you have to buy it from your vet. Diatomaceous earth is non-toxic and can be used to treat your rabbit. It looks like flour, and you can use it like flea powder, just try not to let your rabbit breath it in. You might be able to find it at a garden store, or you can order it from the internet.

Revolution(selamectin) is considered safe for rabbits, but like mentioned is prescription. Regualar Advantage is considered safe as well, but may not be as effective.
http://www.medirabbit.com/EN/Skin_diseases/Parasitic/fleas/Fleas.htm (though listed in the treatment options, I would not recommend using any pyrethrin products as they may cause toxicity)

I would not recommend using DE as there is no way to prevent your rabbit from breathing in the dust, which could damage the lungs.
