Idk
Hi all, we have a a mama rabbit with three little babas who are two weeks old today. I know they will need vaccinations but how old should they be when we take the little munchkins to the vet and should we take mama aswell?

Depending on what vaccinations they are going to take it’s either 10 weeks old or 5/6 weeks old ^^

I’m in Australia and idk what vaccinations, just their preventives for Myxomatosis-RHD and such as well as general immunity

In Australia rabbits are vaccinated against RHD. I believe the babies have a natural immunity while they are still nursing, however I'm not sure if that is affected at all if the mother hasn't already been vaccinated and built up her immunity. I'm finding different info on the age range to first give it, from 4-12 weeks, with a booster a month after the first vac and revaccinated after 6-12 months. Best thing to do would be to phone up your rabbit vet and get the info from them. I'm guessing they would need to get vaccinated around weaning time, and the mother as well.

Thank you, we are going to call the vet on Monday and check for certain, their Mum and our other rabbit have been vaccinated so they have never come into contact with any unvaccinated rabbits. When the babies get their vaccines both the adults will get re vaccinated, thanks for the help :)
