hi everyone, I am considering rehoming my beautiful double maned black Lionhead Rufus. I have 5 buns, and Rufus has broken away from the bonded trio we had. I suspect it was just a false ‘baby’ bond. Anyway we had him fixed and months later he is still living alone and showing signs of depression.
Rufus has a spacious hutch but barely leaves it and spends most of his time staring or hiding. It’s breaking my heart as I never thought I’d have to rehome any of my buns but if I can find the best home for him where he will be happier maybe with a female bun OR an owner who doesn’t have a full time job and 4 other buns to look after.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I feel guilty constantly and it’s getting me down.
I just want my boy to live his best life.
