So, I’ve noticed lately that there seems to be a lot of scratching going on with my rabbits. They are all housed in a large, walk-in pen on the ground. They didn’t seem to have this problem until I put down some new hay on the bottom. I can’t see any evidence of fleas, so I’m wondering if it’s mites. Does anyone have an all natural solution to this problem? Any help would be appreciated!

They are extremely fluffy lionheads, so it’s kinda hard to find stuff in all that super thick fur. Thank you for the help! That article was helpful. Hopefully they’ll stop scratching once I try one of these remedies.

Quick question, what do you use to groom your Lionheads? I'm thinking about getting one and have so many questions!

I use a slicker brush like this to get all the hay and whatnot out of their fur. https://www.amazon.com/Glendan-Brus...?keywords=rabbit+brush&qid=1568393236&sr=8-14
And then I go over it with a soft brush like this one. https://www.amazon.com/yepmax-Anima...words=rabbit+brush+soft&qid=1568393359&sr=8-5
You just have to be pretty careful with the slicker brush. You can’t push down too hard with it or it’ll poke them. But it’s very useful for getting all the extra stuff out the fur. Hope this helps!
