Hi all,

I am currently in the process of bonding two female rabbits. I've noticed that one of them, the more dominant one, eats a lot quicker than the other one does. This leads to her trying to steal the other bunny's food after she finishes hers. I'm not sure how I will be able to house these rabbits together once they are bonded since the more submissive rabbit eats much slower, and thus would not get to eat nearly as much as her cage-mate would.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

If they are in a large pen you could scatter feed. Put their food veggies and/or pellets across the floor spread out. this will make them eat slower and the other shouldn't be able to steal the others. or you could do the same but sit in the pen with them if the faster one is still eating too fast and stealing the others portion.
