Introducing Aspen. She is a 1 year old lionhead mix from a hoarding situation. She was very skittish around humans but has been warming up greatly for the rescue, so they wanted her in a foster home now to get more human attention and used to a household.
Sorry, the pictures are crummy.

Here are some better pics now that she's settled in a bit. She briefly "met" the dogs while in her travel cage, let them sniff it. She didn't seem to mind that. I blocked off a fair chunk of her crate with a sheet and gave her a box, so she could have some privacy if she wanted but she's been stretched out on her blanket in the clear part having staring contests with two of the cats across the room. Doesn't seem to find them intimidating and they are behaving, so that's good.

She's explored the Reading Room a bit today. Still unsure about her surroundings. Two of my cats are fascinated by her but are behaving themselves and she doesn't mind them. So far the the only critter in the house she continues to be dismayed by are humans, lol.
Haven't subjected her to the dogs yet, will wait until she's more comfortable and get them used to her one at a time. She's actually bigger than two of the dogs.

No, I'll try my hardest to get her used to me and hopefully better equipped for a new family but I'm pretty sure this one won't be a foster fail.

That's good, the better half showed some more interest in Aspen today and when told the goal of helping get her more used to humans, volunteered to be sure and come sit in her room to read or what not as much as he can.

Aspen is feeling more brave around people today and though I didn't catch in on video or anything, she just did the first binky I've ever seen from her! And it was stinking cute, LOL.

She jumped straight up and double kicked all 4 feet together twice before landing.

Still won't approach anyone and runs when directly approached but that's still progress.
