Update on Oreo.

The vet said she’s doing great and he likes the way her wound is healing. His only worry is that she has a sort of hole in her leg that won’t heal and today I noticed a bump that isn’t supposed to be there. I suppose it is puss filled, since the hole in her leg has discharge that’s been coming out of it. I’m going to be taking her to the vet again on Wednesday and was wondering if thats too long of a wait?

I also had another question. She has a massive wound on her back and I was wondering if anyone knows if her hair will grow back where the wound was/ is.

Hello! Have you been cleaning the rabbit's leg? If you are taking your rabbit to a vet on Wednesday that should be okay... but you might want to call your vet about that bump on your rabbit if you're worried about it. If her leg worsens you need to take her back to the vet sooner than later.
oh, and is the massive wound on the rabbit's back healing? If it is, the rabbit's fur should grow back eventually. ;)

It is healing but slowly. I have to take her to the vet once a week to get everything cleaned and such. The vet said if the wound on her leg doesn't heal up and soon he wants to put her under and then really clean it out and then maybe suture it closed.

She has to stay at the vet again and go through another surgery. Prayers!
