Hi. My rabbit's birthday is tomorrow and I was thinking about making her a little cake and serving it in a muffin liner/paper. She loves to eat paper and I was wondering if it would be safe for her to eat it cause they are colored.

I would be more concerned about the liners themself, not the colour, the colour is food grade so no worries there.
But this liners are not normal paper, they are specificly made to withstand moisture - so they will not soften or desintegrate in the stomach. I think in that regard they are pretty much equivalent to plastic, and that's not a good thing for rabbits to nibble on.

Happy birthday to your rabbit, and I wouldn't because cupcake liners are not like normal paper it has more of a waxy ish feel to it. And I have never heard of a rabbit that ate paper. I find it kinda funny and interesting

Sure, rabbits love to shred a phonebook! I couldn't find a photo I have of my rabbits doing this. But, rabbits love to shred (and sometimes consume some) paper or plain cardboard.

(Though I'd agree that muffin liners aren't a good idea.)

Wow my rabbits have never done that. I will have books and papers out while they run around and they might jump on it but then they leave it. But a phonebook?? (I didn't know people had those anymore XD) My rabbits do like to play with cardboard boxes a lot though.
