Hello everyone, Last night (b4 i went to sleep) my rabbit kept making Gurgling noises... I brushed it off just saying he was drinking or something but now (morning) hes making the same gurgling noises and whenever he hops it kinda sounds like sloshing.
He was gritting quite a bit so i gave him his painkiller/anti inflamitry meds.

Hes refused to eat his food but he is still eating treats

His stomach feels quite squishy

And idk if this is important but hes got the E. Cuniculi parasite (he has meds for it aswell)

Just looked under where he was sitting and hes made a small pee patch

And theres alot of peed on saw dust on his tail

Sloshing and gurgling usually means that there has been an alteration in the gut bacteria from an overgrowth of harmful bacteria, which can end up causing dangerous digestive illnesses like mucoid enteritis or diarrhea due to enterotoxemia. With your rabbit also grinding it's teeth due to pain, this is not a good sign. I would get your rabbit back to the vet immediately and would want the vet to start treatment for possible enterotoxemia with metronidazole, cholestyramine, and sub q or IV fluids. If there is bloating, the vet would also need to treat that.

I'm interpreting two different concerns, that may both be related to the EC.

Meds for EC may be affecting his gut, causing the discomfort he's experiencing. I would also recommend a vet visit with a rabbit experienced vet in order to determine the exact cause.

Have urine accidents and wet fur are symptoms I've heard coincide with EC, so this may be a flare up of the disease (if he hasn't experienced in a while). One of my rabbit-acquaintances has a rabbit who goes through EC flare ups, which causes lots of pee accidents and urine scalding as a result. It's important to get this assessed by an experienced vet, as it can be informative about how your rabbit is dealing with the EC meds and whether there may be another cause.

He had stasis a couple months back and had to take 2 months of meds to help with the EC, hes been relitivly fine since all that but its just today hes started gurgling.

Hes been bouncing around as usually eating, drinking etc the only issues im noticing are the wetness down by his tail and the gurgling

The sloshing has stopped but hes still gurgling, he seems to be acting perfectly normal other than that

His stomach seems to feel more normal gain though, Doesnt feel incredibly soft anymore just feels like his usuall belly
