I am going to be breeding my rabbit's soon and wondering how long to have the male and female together?

Just curious, have you done any research on the subject of rabbit breeding yet?

What purpose are you breeding these rabbits for? Let me warn that it is very hard to find homes for mixed breed or pet quality rabbits, as there is a pretty large supply but not too much demand. If you were planning to sell the babies as pets you might want to reconsider breeding. When breeding, you need to make sure you bring the doe the buck's cage and leave them together only long enough to breed (the male 'falls off' when he's done), then remove them promptly or else the doe could attack and severely injure the buck... she might attempt that anyway if she isn't in season. There are some good websites and books out there on breeding rabbits, it's really something that you need to go in with more information than what you can get out of individual questions like this.

Yes

Breeding rabbits requires lots of research and time and effort. Do not breed rabbits to simply breed. Their are way to many rabbits in shelters and if you are not breeding to have purebred Pedigreed bunnies for show or already have pet homes lined up, meat or fur, you should not be breeding rabbits.

You don’t say what breed they are but they should be at least 6 months old before trying. Large breed rabbits should be even older. Attempting to breed much younger than that opens you to a higher chance of failure. If you’re breeding in hot temperatures be sure the rabbits are inside.

Do as much research as you can Like if a baby gets stuck while the mom is in active labor what are you suppose to do? Watch videos. I know it is probably gross but your about to do it with your rabbits at home so you have to watch it with them too. Have you ever bred anything before? Because rabbits are not like most animals where you can just leave the doe with the buck. You also need to bring the doe to the bucks cage or in neutral area like a separate cage. But seriously WATCH VIDEOS ON HOW TO DO IT. I helps SO much! And personally I wait until my rabbits are at least 8 months old just to be sure it is safe. I recommend this video
