First time Bunny Parent! Today we have welcomed two beautiful bunnies into our family:
A lionhead called Starmoon (yes my 4-year-old did name him!)
and a Lop called Harvey.

We are looking at getting pet insurance for them both, but we aren't sure what type of Lop Harvey is. Wondering if anyone could help? From what I've read online, I'm thinking an English Lop but I'd like the opinion of those more experienced than me :)

Thank you so much

Hi, welcome to rabbitsonline :)
He's definitely not an English lop as they have a way longer ears he looks more like Holland lop to me but maybe other people will tell you more. I have a girl looking a bit like your Harvey myself.
These photo is just from internet for English lop rabbit.

Look like a holland lop, how much does your bunny weight?

It can also be a mixed breed lop.

A picture of my lop bunny, he’s a mix with holland lop and some other breeds. Not a pure breed.

I'm not sure - shall weigh him in the morning. He's only 8 weeks old at the moment - he does look very much like yours though

Then your bunny it’s either a pure breed holland lop or a mix like mine [emoji5]

I can’t say for sure but... mini lop? S/he looks tiny from the image. If they weigh 3-5. Pounds it is most likely a mini lop.

I’ve had lots of lops my whole life...and have an English Lop right now! Your guy, as people have stated above, is definitely not an English Lop <3. They’re large, and their ears are ridiculously large. My guy can’t walk without stepping on his (not that it slows him down much! Based on his ears and head shape I’d say he’s most likely a mini Lop? But it is a little more difficult to know if they’re a mini or just a false dwarf Holland :)

Here’s a picture of my baby ‘posing’ before I got him to show off his ears :)

Since your buns are so young beware that when hormones kick in they can't be housed together until they are bonded, which also can't be done until hormones kick in and both are fixed. I would guess Harvey is a Holland Lop mix of some kind :)
