I got my middle boy neutered April 30th, so it’s almost been a full month. After about two weeks, I started the last part of the bonding process between him and my oldest boy. They were already grooming, and now they are completely bonded and share a cage. My question is, yoshi, the one who just was neutered is still spraying urine... even so much that it gets all over my oldest face, and he’s white. He constantly has a dirty face, looks like from either when yoshi grooms or sprays. My poor little links face is covered in something all the time, that I have to damp a towel and clean it for him. What’s going on?

EDIT: I do know that hormones can last a month after a neuter, but should that stop the spraying as well?

It may just be that his hormones haven't completely went away. What I would do is separate him untill his hormones are all the way gone. Then try to bond him back to your other rabbits and see if it helps

Hormones can take up to 8 weeks to dissipate. It's only been a little over 3 weeks since the neuter, so you have a few more weeks to go to see if the behavior calms down. I would not separate if they are getting along, as you will then have to go through the bonding process all over again, unless you are fed up with the spraying.

Yeah I don’t want to separate. It’s very clear they love each other’s company. I guess I’ll just keep waiting and keep cleaning his face off.
