Single or a pair?

For those of you who haven't followed my other thread, I've had a lot of you'd and downs with trying to adopt a bunny. Long story short, we've been approved by a rescue an hour and a half away. We are going to an event tomorrow to meet some buns.

In working with the rescue, they suggested a couple buns to check out that would be great for our family (small kids, and a dog compatible). Anyway, the director messaged me and said they had a bonded pair available as well that would fit great with us. They just got the all clear at the beginning of the week, and if we would consider the pair, they will wait to post them.

I wasn't planning on 2, but we aren't opposed to it either. Thoughts either way?

I am new to bunnies but opted go fo for a pair! I think it’s amazing to see them interact and I bet if you got one, you would want to add one before too long! Having the bonding part already done is a huge bonus! I say go for two!

If the pair is already fixed and already bonded, it's a great way to go. It's up to you and your family, of course, but I've never found a bonded pair to be noticeably different in workload.

(Just remember, if you do get two, that if one ever needs a vet, they both travel and stay together.)

Buns are great in pairs and will keep each other great company just make sure they’re neutered and be prepared if in a rare chance you ever need to separate them!

Went with the pair. They are both fixed. The Dutch is Hare-ison and the black is Lola bunny.
