I took Chawlie to the vet yest for her urine and left her there to urinate of which she did not go. She had went over 12 hours without urinating because she was mad that things were out of her litter box. She finally peed this morning after I put everything in back the way she is used to. I'm just not sure how to get her sample so I can take it in.

I'm not a rabbit expert but you could bring her litter box with you when you go to the vet for the urine check. If she still doesn't pee in the litter box at the vet then you may have to find a way to do it at yours but I don't think it will affect you bunny much unless you were trying to test her for a disease or issue (like bladder sludge). How long have you had this bun for?Maybe if you haven't had it for long, it may not trust people enough to do a check on it??Still, I am still not sure that your rabbit will urinate in the litter box at the vet but this should not be an issue if your rabbit is peeing fine at home.Hope this helps!

She wouldn't go at the vet even with her litter box . She refused to pee. I've finally got her urinating again as usual. It took over 13 hours to get her to go. She is so stubborn. Since I've been giving fluids she has not had issues with the color of the urine. I just can't get her to drink either.

If you really need the urine sample, you could ask the vet if they could administer some sub-q fluids when you first drop her off - that would almost certainly make her need to pee badly enough to quit being stubborn. They'll charge you for the fluid injection, but if she's that stubborn, it may be worth it...

Her urine had been dark but now it's not since I've been giving her fluids by mouth. Also, when she has a UTI she starts to fall down more. But, tonight she did great being out of her cage. She didn't fall down much.

Dark isn't necessarily cause for concern - normal rabbit pee can be light or dark yellow, orange, brown or even red. Falling down concerns me quite a bit, though... what did the vet say about it? I've never heard of a UTI making a rabbit fall over... cursory research suggests it could be a more serious infection like EC. Some aggressive antibiotics are probably in order. I would send a PM to JBun, our health and wellness moderator, with your concerns in case she misses this thread. She's freaking awesome and as much as I know about rabbits, she truly puts me to shame on the health issues! She'll be able to help you figure out the most probable causes of your rabbit's symptoms and advise you on what to talk to your vet about.

Edit: I went ahead and sent Jenny a PM and included you in the conversation. Hopefully, we can get to the bottom of this!

My rabbit was born with a neurological disability that causes her not to stand well. We've treated her in the past for a UTI and had great success with her mobility. We r currently treating her with the Panacur for poss EC. I thought this may have been the cause of her disability.
The urine has cleared but I'm concerned on how to get her to drink on her own again. Does the Panacur steal their desire to drink? She eats very well and is pooping and peeing per normal. I do give her 60cc of fluid in divdivi doses with a syringe but she used to drink from a bowl. Here is a pic of her with her bunnies

What is the vet wanting the urine sample for? Does your bun have a UTI now?

Panacur would more likely cause a lack of appetite than decreased thirst. Is she not drinking on her own now and how long has this been going on? Is it just since she started the meds? So you are having to syringe fluids into her then?

I believe it's been since she started the medication but her appetite is great. Yes, I have been using a syringe for water or else she would not take any fluids. The vet has had to give her fluids sub q before.
