Soft places like beds and sofas seem to be a favorite peeing spot for many buns. Best to block them from access.
You can try putting one of their blankets on your bed/sofa. I also had trouble with my bunny peeing on beds and that worked for him. Whenever I wash my blankets (which I avoid doing until absolutely needed to not stress him) I let him play in them so they smell like him. He hasn't peed on my bed in a couple of months.

Because of the age when they were spayed, some hormonal behaviors (like pee marking) may be somewhat "learned"... also, some bunns just have a penchant for peeing on soft stuff (Alice had a bad habit for a while of peeing when we were snuggling her in the bed). Like Blue eyes said, the best way to stop obnoxious bunny behavior is to block access.

Thank you for your comment. We tried doing that. And they would dig under their blanket or toss it aside and pee on my bed .

We hope one day we can just relax in bed/sofa with them again

We just use a waterproof mattress protector. When Alice went through her bed-peeing phase, the sheets had to be changed pretty often, heh. Whenever she peed on the bed, play/snuggle/run around time ended abruptly and she went back to her condo. After a while, she quit peeing on the bed.
