Ever since Storm gave birth to another accidental litter several hours ago, Gary, my 5 month old buck has been stomping almost NON-STOP. I believe that he was stomping loudly when Oreo gave birth, as well. Now Gary has been caged for about a month and will not stop; he just stands there, upright and stomping.

When I came to investigate it earlier, I found Storm starting to give birth, but he will not stop. I fear I will get in trouble with the neighbors, and my apartment just told me I can only keep 2 bunnies (which is not happening), months after I told them I had more than 2. Is there any way to stop him, besides letting him stay in my room? He has been very destructive lately, but is getting neutered Tuesday.

He briefly stops to eat or poop, but it is so much louder than usual. Is this common? I could not find anything like this anywhere.

Yes, that is something I've seen too, I know one of my does gave birth recently when the others sound like a wood chopping contest. You can put something soft in his cage, folded towels etc., that dampens the stomping. You can also put something soft under his cage to keep the noise contained. Act normally around him.

Maybe that’s why! Bunnies like to be out a lot so they can run around, so he might be a bit stressed being caged.

Is Gary the dad to storms babies? Or are they just 2 separate bunnies
Perhaps. I know that he stomps a bit after being put in a cage, and is always trying to get out... He used to be free roam.

Yes, I believe Gary is the father, but when he tried to mount her for 1 second, I separated them. There is another male that mounted her for 2 - 3 seconds, but I washed the area immediately to try and prevent pregnancy. But Gary is the father of Oreo's two litters and Storm's first litter, at the very least. Just weird that he was stomping for 5 - 6 hours straight as soon as she gave birth... He just got neutered, so no more of this :)

Marinette thumps in the morning around the time my alarm goes off. I think it's her way of telling me it's time to get up and let her out. She knows our routine well and it only took about a week of doing everything around the same time every day. She even knows when it's time to go to bed.
