So Bella has been with me since December and she was spayed on the 7th of March. She has always urinated in the litter box with no major issues (except right after the spay where she went a little wild but shes back to her original habits now). The problem is she poops EVERYWHERE including her litter box. She had a week where she pooped all around her litter box so I changed it out and that helped a lot but still she poops around her room floor. Idk if I should be doing more or not. I read that poop incidents are normal but my sisters rabbit is not spayed and only uses her litter pan and they started her training months after I started traing Bella.

I attached a layout of her cage if that helps. She uses the litter box regularly but she still poops outside of it sometimes and I dont know why.

Please offer some things that you have tried. I HAVE READ EVERYTHING on this topic and it has not worked.

Thank you all in advance!

Occasional poos outside the litter box are to be expected. That's pretty normal. It is indeed the rare rabbit that is 100% with poos. If she is 100% with urine, then she is considered litter trained.

Healthy poos are easy enough to sweep up, so no worries.

I've only had one rabbit perfect with poos. Larry (Nancy McClellan) has had dozens of rabbits and I recall him saying how very very few were 100%.

Ok. They do sweep up easily I just hate that she does it in her comfort spots and they usually pile up before I find them. Smh
