So, about one month before Zeus was brought home I adopted a 3 month old snow bengal we've name Arya.

They've quickly become buddies. This morning I've been watching them chase each other around the living room. It's just so cute I had to share! ( they are ALWAYS supervised when together)

Cute but please be extra careful. Chasing is a way that cats (or dogs) play because they mimic predator behavior. Chasing is not really how rabbits (prey) play. It may look harmless, but could be causing great stress to the rabbit.

I know of a couple families who thought it was so cute that their dog and rabbit would "play chase." The rabbit of each family died within months (if memory serves) of this constant stress.

I'm not saying cats and rabbits can't get along. They often do. I'd just be extra careful about any play that involves chasing. :)

Right :) it's the rabbit chasing the kitten. Pretty sure he was just trying to mate with her

I know you're just trying to help and prevent anything bad from happening.

The important thing to remember is that scratches or bites from a cat often cause FATAL infections to rabbits (even *with* vet treatment). If the rabbit is doing the chasing and they're always supervised, they're probably ok... just want to make sure you know the risks. Two (well, one, since Lambers died) of ours are ok around our cats, but for some reason the cats love to chase our Holland Lop, Alice, like she's prey. You know your rabbit and cat better than we do, so it all comes down to what you, personally, are comfortable with (under supervision).

It is really cute to see the two of them together. I always love to see cross species friendships. If you want to post another photo, I'd love to see a clearer one of your cat. They're such a pretty breed, and I can't see it well in the hutch photo.

Don't take the extra advice as anything more than us being extra cautious and just wanting to make sure you're aware in case you weren't. You'd be surprised at how many people over the years, have come on here after having made or proceed to make, uneducated or poor decisions when it came to their rabbit being around a dog or cat, many times with fatal consequences. So out of our over abundant concern for the safety and welfare of all rabbits out there, we feel we need to mention possible dangers in case an owner isn't aware.
