hi I’ve recently been having trouble with my rabbis ears, they’ve became flaky and his hair is starting to come out in clumps. It is definitely not ear mites as he has been checked, just his skin is too dry.The vet gave me some foam to rub into his ears yet it’s not really stopped it at all. I’m taking him back to the vets this weekend to see if she has anything but just wondered if anybody had the same issue and what they did to help it.
Thank you xx

Could it be a different skin bug... or an allergic reaction???? Some one else weigh in here please???????????
I thought About the skin bugs but the vet said not at all. And there’s nothing he really could’ve gotten allergic to, no change in housing/diet/toys or hay. I’m just getting worried because it’s starting to cause his fur to come out..

Is there anyway he may just have dry skin? What kind of things are you feeding your rabbit? Jbun know so much about rabbits I wonder if she has seen you post yet?

No i doubt it is dry skin as his hair around his ears is starting to fall out too. He gets pellets, veggies and fresh hay with some herbs. He’s very content generally but it does bother him, he’s free roam in the house too.
