Hi guys! So I spend almost all day eith my bunny unless ai go out which is only for about 3 hours or so. Im very close to him. He bonds with me all the time. But I’m about to start a new job from 10 am to 8 pm. And then I would be up till 2 am. Is it fine if I see my rabbit once in the morning and then not for the whole day till 8pm? Will he become depressed all of a sudden? What can I do? Please help. Also is there any way to make his time table according to mine a bit so he could be sleeping when ai’m gone maybe? Im really stressed guys please let me know thanks :(

Hey,

Lots of bunnies are left when their owners have work- don’t stress!

Just ensure that he has a big space (his cage with a large exercise pen attached is good) that he can’t escape from and LOTS of toys and things to keep him busy. I also leave the radio on when I’m at work.

Just monitor his behavior and if he shows signs of loneliness or depression, consider adopting another bun to bond him with.

Good luck with your new job and don’t fret xxx

Hey thank you so much for your reply. I’m relieved. And my bun is free roam only goes in the cage at night so that helps i guess! He has the whole house to himself butI feel like hes so attached to me cuz I’m always home and with him :(
