Hi.
I gave my rabbit some lettuce a couple of times this week, and today I noticed there are like skid marks on her wooden house and in a ceremic bowl that she likes sleeping in.
Is it coz I gave her lettuce or do u guys think she's sick.
My bun is a lion head just over 1 yr old.

Thanks in advance

What type of lettuce and how much? Was this the first time you gave this type of lettuce, did you make sure to wash before you gave it to her, do you see any worms in her poop?

I have about 20 lion heads/part lion heads and I have given them "freshies" and not had an issue but it could be the lettuce was new, too much, reaction to the lettuce, etc.

Could be loose from that, keep watching and if she has loose or runny poop get her to the vet. Make sure she is eating and drinking, not acting lethargic - if she is get her to the vet ASAP.

If you have Critical Care on hand you can make some up and see if she will eat it on her own - if not then you may need to force it with a syringe - 1 cc at a time. See if that helps in the mean time - there is no way to know for sure if she is sick or a reaction to the lettuce or if you may have given her too much...especially if this was the first time you gave her lettuce or the first time you gave her this type of lettuce...

It wasn't the first time that I gave it to her.
Romain lettuce, and yes I made sure that it was washed probably. But tnx for the advice

April. Should I was her as she has some poop stuck to her fur next to her butt. Or should I just wipe it off

Yeah, don't stress her out washing her bump...if you can just wipe it off.

Glad to hear she is doing better.
