I need a gate in a doorway, and I have all these NIC grids that I can ziptie together to make a suitable panel but I can’t think of how to secure it to the doorframe. Ideas?

If you go to the hardware store, and I think it's in the electrical/cable section, there are these 1/4" plastic cable clamps for securing flexible tubing/cabling. Then if you need to be able to unclip the gate from one side, I use screw in eye bolts in the wall and trigger snaps to clip the gate to the eye bolt. Or if you don't have a power driver to screw in the cable clamps, you can do screw in eye bolts on both sides, and zip tie one side, with the trigger clips on the other.

eta: Or if you don't want to be putting holes in your wall/door frame, there are always the baby gates that are secured by tension.
